Former BCC Chairman wins Lifetime Achievement Award

Former British Cleaning Council (BCC) Chairman Paul Thrupp was awarded with The Lifetime Achievement Award at the recent Cleaning Excellence Awards.

The Cleaning Excellence Awards, which were part of the Cleaning Matters Digital Conference, celebrated the best in cleaning and hygiene throughout the past year.

The winners were announced on 17 November by TV’s ‘voice of Strictly Come Dancing’ Alan Dedicote.

The Lifetime Achievement Award was selected by the editor of Cleaning Matters who nominated Paul Thrupp, Chairman of the BCC from 2019 – 2021.

The award was made for Paul Thrupp’s role in pushing forward the creation of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for the UK Cleaning and Hygiene Industry, which was inaugurated in February 2021.
