The ultimate national clean-up – run by charity Keep Britain Tidy – will take place again in 2020 from March 20 – 13 April.
With the ambition to get 600,000 #LitterHeroes out, cleaning up the environment on their doorstep, the Great British Spring Clean is the country’s biggest mass-action environmental campaign.
Last year, more than 560,000 volunteers took part, carrying out litter-picks in their communities and clearing up over 4,000 tonnes of rubbish.
In 2020, with the support of a host of partners including community groups, charities, local authorities and businesses, the campaign aims to be bigger and better than ever.
It is easy for anyone to get involved by pledging to take part, organising a litter-pick in their community or joining an organised event.
