In recognition of his extraordinary contribution to the cleaning industry and the Cleaning & Hygiene Suppliers Association (CHSA) Shaun Chatterton has been named a life vice president of the CHSA.
Shaun has been an active member of the CHSA since its formation. He has served as chairman of the Association and is now the driving force behind the annual Golf Day. This year Shaun persuaded former Premier League and England footballer, Ian Wright, to take part and in the process helped raise a record £6,500 for the Chairman’s Charity, ‘Helping Treat Cancer Together Committee’.
“Shaun’s contribution has been exceptional over many years,” says Stephen Harrison, chairman of the CHSA. “He has been instrumental in sustaining the CHSA and making it the influential trade association it is today. We are delighted to recognise his contribution by making him a life vice president of the Association and are looking forward to his continued involvement.”
Speaking about his appointment Shaun Chatterton said: “The CHSA has had a significant impact in the cleaning & hygiene sector, driving up standards and providing a great forum for networking. I’ve loved being part of the Association and feel honoured to be recognised with this appointment.”
Shaun Chatterton founded CPD, one of the UK’s largest independent distributors of cleaning & hygiene products, serving clients in the UK, across Europe and around the world. During CPD’s 25-year trading history, the company’s turnover grew every year and has achieved a cumulative total of more than £200 million. Shaun is now CEO of Floreon plc. Floreon is a specially formulated compound, which is added to standard bioplastic polylactic acid (PLA) to create an innovative material with a sustainable origin and a range of end of life options. It was created from a desire for a greener, safer form of plastic.
