The British Pest Control Association (BPCA) are the latest trade body to join the BCC after a unanimous vote at the recent board meeting in Birmingham.
Chief Executive of BPCA, Simon Forrester, gave a presentation to the BCC board in which he outlined how becoming a member could be of huge strategic benefit to his organisation.
He said: “I was very pleased for BPCA to be accepted. We have already made contact with several BCC member associations about forging stronger working links, and we have booked a BPCA stand at The Cleaning Show.”
New BCC Chairman Simon Hollingbery welcomed the BPCA into the fold, and said he hoped they would play a very active part in the Council in the months and years ahead.
The British Pest Control Association (BPCA) is the leading UK trade association representing those organisations with a professional interest in the eradication of public health pests. It is a not-for-profit organisation which acts in the interests of its members and on behalf of the pest management industry within the UK.
