Local Authority dignitaries (of the Cleanest City finalists) have been invited to attend the grand finale of Britain’s Cleanest City on Tuesday 1st March 2005, at the NEC, Birmingham. The high profile event will include key figures from the cleaning industry plus Local Authority delegates.
The Awards ceremony will coincide with the Cleaning Show – running from 1st – 3rd March – which showcases products and services from the global cleaning industry.
This event is by invitation only and is sponsored by BCC and Karcher (UK) Ltd. There is an anticipated audience of around 250 people – so places are limited to the Local Authority attendees from all over the UK.

Each of the shortlisted cities – Bristol, Birmingham, Cambridge, Cardiff, City of London, Edinburgh, Ely, Manchester, Truro, Westminster – will receive a Certificate of Merit in recognition of their achievement in reaching the final. There will also be three special Chairman’s Awards plus the Cleanest City Award.
