The British Cleaning Council is delighted to announce that it has finalised the line up for its annual conference. Following positive member and attendee feedback, the BCC has focused its attention on the theme of Future Proofing the Cleaning Industry.

Andy Mudd, principal consultant of the Association of Public Sector Excellence will be asking delegates to look over their shoulders for their next competitor: the public sector. As surprising as this may be to many in some in the private sector, Mudd will make the case that new legislation and desire for funds has led to the local authorities to compete effectively for  traditionally commercial work.

Douglas Cooke, Chair of the British Cleaning Council will be leading us inside the world of the secret boss and letting us in on lessons learned from the inside of his own contracts at Principle Cleaning.

The conference will also feature breakout sessions: Mark Jennings of ActionCoach business coaching will be taking our temperature with a “Growth Health Check”, enabling guests to go through a simple but highly effective process of analysing their business profitability. Priscilla Morris of Loud & Clear Voice Coaching will help delegates ascertain whether their voice has “the X Factor” when it comes to influence and persuasion.

Alex Depledge, Co-Founder of Teddle will take us through the changing world of start-ups, discussing how as a new sector entrant she used technology to shake up the world of domestic cleaning.

Oliver Kamm, Chief Economics lead writer and columnist for The Times will be MC and moderator for the much-anticipated Industry Question Time. Featuring an all industry star panel including Asset Skills chief executive, Sarah Bentley, Mark Woodhead, sales director of Selden Research, Rhys Moore director of the Living Wage Foundation and Ismena Clout, consultant and chair of BIFM.

The BCC looks forward to hosting a range of delegates from across the diverse and innovative industry it represents.

The conference will take place at the CBI Centre, Tottenham Court Road, London. Book early to take advantage of the early bird ticket offer of £99!
